Carson Ray is a 2026 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Features a slender athletic build with room to add. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Moves well on the dirt, showcasing twitchy actions. Sound footwork gets around balls well, while soft hands catch the ball consistently. Athleticism plays well up the middle. Threw 83 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a wider stance with a coiled timing mechanism. Swings with plenty of intent. Shows a longer path with good extension out front. Can create loft and drive balls well into the air pullside. Has quality power present with more coming down the line. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a semi-windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics. Throws from a 3/4 slot using a short arm action. Fastball sat 75-79 mph with slight armside run. Throws it for strikes often. Pairs it with a low-60’s curveball with short, slurve action. Still developing consistent feel for the offering. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
