Tyler Stiteler is a 2019 C/3B with a 5-10 179 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Valley Christian HS. Medium frame with beginnings of strength. Primary catcher with a low, spread stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouch to a taller throwing position. Clean exchange with a looser glove circle while working through transition. Throws generated some carry to the bag, best workout pop time of 2.08. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and large leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hand path to contact with a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed some bat speed and strength at contact when turning barrel head and working to contact out front. When squared, produced tight back spin with good carry to the gap. Good student.
