Anthony Urbancik is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Farmingville, NY who attends Sachem East. Compact frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary second baseman with smooth paced footwork while ranging to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and reads hops well. Clean exchanges and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Flashed the ability to change arm angle while on the run and create accurate throws to the bag, topped at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and large front side trigger. Coils hands slightly at load and worked to contact on a loose path. Utilized and mid field approach but flashed the barrel control to work to all fields when staying balanced at contact. Very good student as well.
