Robert LaColla is a 2008 RHP from Lourdes HS, residing in Lagrangeville, New York, with a 6'0"/175 pound frame. Robert has a lean frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slit with clean arm action. He has solid mechanics and an online delivery with some effort. LaColla has solid command of his 80 mph fastball. His changeup has sink at 71 mph and he has a solid curveball at 65 mph which will get better as it gets tighter. Robert hits from a slightly open stance with a small stride. He has slight lift in his swing and makes consistent contact. He does pull off the ball at times. LaColla has lone arm action from the outfield with a solid release at 81 mph and solid carry. He needs to get more reps in the outfield to improve his approach to the ball. Robert is an excellent student.
