Slade Wayne is a 2026 C/MIF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Lake Worth, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Taller and lean frame with room to keep adding strength moving forward. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a short and quick arm action. He's twitchy and athletic behind the dish who made throws around the bag to produce a 2.05 POP time. Also worked out as an infielder with a short arm action, but some strength across with 82 mph velocity behind the throws. Was able to remain loose and make the plays during his round. A right-handed hitter who used his body to produce some strength in the swings. Starts very wide in the box and shows off some athleticism during his round of BP. Was able to show some juice when he got extended and leveraged the ball. It's a loose and projectable swing. Very good student.
