Denzel Boston is a 2021 OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Outstanding runner, 6.73 in the sixty, has run 6.57 in the past at PG showcases, speed plays up in games and is impactful. Switch-hitter, has a better present swing from the right side, better hand action and drive into contact, contact approach from both sides, puts the ball on the ground and runs, knows how to bunt and did in games. Would really benefit as a hitter from additional strength. Has solid defensive actions in the outfield, speed is an obvious plus moving to the ball, short and compact arm action from a high release point. Excellent student.
