Alen Bass is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Braden River. Medium and lean frame, athletic with room to fill. Ran a 6.97 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield sitting back on the baseball with short strides moving towards it, fields the ball out in front and creates uphill carry into throws, topped out at 78 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide and slightly open stance and a high hand set, hands dive into contact with some quickness, creates a downhill swing plane, present bat speed with some strength at impact, primarily a pull side approach, will only continue to improve with strength to frame and reps. Good student.
