2021 Sunshine Northeast Showcase
Dylan Smith is a 2023 OF/1B/3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Leesburg, VA who attends Heritage. Smith worked exclusively from the outfield, successfully fielding the ball out in front and putting himself in good positions to throw. He kept the ball low and accurate from a full arm motion. Adding additional strength to his young build will only add to his already solid potential. Offensively, Smith showcased a short compact swing inside the baseball from an even stance. He displayed good lower half rotation as well as the ability to create lift in his bat path. Ran a 7.23 60 yard dash.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
