Garrett Ferguson is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Blue Springs, MO who attends Summit Christian Academy. Ran a 7.46 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame that has room to fill out and add strength. Shows good athleticism through the delivery, working exclusively from the stretch with a simple and repeatable delivery. Clean direction down the mound in the lower half, landing online with good extension over the front side. Has some arm speed and looseness to the path from a high three-quarter slot. Hides the fastball well and attacks the zone at 81-84 miles per hour. Shows good feel to spin a mid-70s slider with some good bite and depth when on time and out front. Generates swings and misses and has advanced pitchability. Secondary outfielder that positions well with a good approach to the ball and clean glove actions. Has present arm strength with a longer arm action, making accurate throws at 86 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter with a straight stance, high hand set and rotational lower half. Stays direct to the ball with quick hands and present bat speed, staying balanced throughout with a naturally lifted barrel plane. Executes a middle of the field approach, flashing some jump off the barrel with plenty of line drive contact. Swing translates to game action with a hard-hit double down the line. Good student.
