Will Horton is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Fort Worth, TX who attends Nolan Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Has good tempo to his delivery and uses his lower half well, good extension out front from a 3/4's arm slot, creates angle into the zone, arm is loose and works well. Steady low 80's fastball, gets good running and sinking life arm side. Short slurve-type breaking ball with 2/8 shape can be tightened up but is thrown for strikes and is effective. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with a rock back load, gets to his front side well and shows some bat speed and ability to back spin the ball, swung the bat well in games and showed some lift and carry to the opposite field. 7.47 runner, has athletic actions in the outfield, makes accurate throws with some carry from a quick release. Good student.
