Max Mangum is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Boston College High School. Recorded a 7.64 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with a high waist and room to add strength. Primary outfielder, fields off to the side with deliberate footwork and extra steps into the throwing process. Works from a three-quarters arm slot with slightly lower elbow on the backside of the arm stroke. Arm strength recorded up to 75 mph in drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a high back elbow, slotted hand set and small hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics with good posture to impact the baseball well to the pull-side. Consistent bat-to-ball skills with some barrel accuracy and leverage out in front when on time. Solid swing mechanics with the chance for more power as he physically matures. Excellent Student.
