Dakota McCaskill is a 2022 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Tyler, TX who attends Tyler Lee. Recorded a 7.76 second 60 yard dash time. Big and physical frame with present strength and broad shoulders. Primary catcher with a loose transfer, works around the ball, has accurate throws with good carry. Secondary first baseman with a strong arm and good hands. Quick turns with accurate throws, nice combo of physicality and athleticism. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a leg kick to the belt and drop and drive mechanics. Pretty explosive hip drive forward, comes from a high three-quarters slot with a long arm action. Arm comes through clean, shows a changeup with some fade action. 11-5 curveball with nice tilt, the arm and body project for more velo in the future. Right-handed hitter with a balanced base and low hand set. Fires the hands hard, relies on his strength and produces jump off the barrel. Gets the elbow high and cocked on the load, can cause timing issues. Will improve as he gets extended and gets the barrel out front. Pull side bomb in the game. Excellent student.
