Will Chauffe is a 2021 LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Pitcher only, has a longer arm action from a three-quarters to high three-quarters slot. Reaches straight down and back after separation. Mid leg lift, works down the hill with a lower front side. Looks to establish his fastball early, sits 82-85 mph, possesses good natural arm side run as well as some downward angle. Plus 74 mph fading change that mimics the actions of the fastball out of the hand. Also mixes in a true 1-to-7 shaped curveball that he's able to manipulate to the back foot of righties. Not afraid to go back to back with his breaking ball. Shows great developing pitchability. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
