Aiden Ruiz is a 2026 SS/C with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Woodhaven, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Recorded a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a compact athletic frame. Moved in the infield with quick feet and lots of athleticism. Good feel and showed really quick transfer. Ranged well to both sides with comfort. Solid arm strength across the diamond, recording throws up to 84 mph. Secondary catcher and used same quick transfer and good arm . Fast out of the crouch and recorded a 1.77 pop time in drills. Switch-hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet from the left side. Engaged the hips very well and displayed quickness to the hands, using a mature approach and working the pull side with barrels. Begins from slightly open base from right side and showed more loft to path. Turned over the barrel hard, staying short to it and showcased good power to both gaps. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
