Matei Vasiliu is a 2025 1B/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Sunnyside, NY who attends The Lawrenceville School. Vasiliu works from a physical broader built with evident strength. As a corner guy, he showcased cleaner footwork while fielding out in front to ultimately top out at 76 mph across the diamond. He kept the mechanics controlled with fluid actions to produce accurate throws on the bag. Offensively, the righty started from an even stance with the ability to use the opposite field.
