Ryan Schummer is a 2023 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from West Lafayette, IN who attends Central Catholic Jr Sr Hi Schl. Recorded a 7.64 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a physical build with present strength. Begins from a tall set up behind the plate. Showed some catch and throw skills with a clean transfer and a solid arm. Also worked out in the infield and displayed clean glovework and threw from a longer arm action. Left-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base with even feet and a high back elbow. Creates some whip on an uphill swing path. Tremendous student.
