Zachary Corse is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Lemont, IL who attends Lemont Twp. Young, square shouldered frame, higher waist with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.99 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate with a wide base, receives the ball out front, works into a lower slot on throws, upper body dominant release and can continue to incorporate additional lower half and footwork into release, shorter stride coming out of crouch. Also pitched, methodical and simple operation on the mound, similar low slot release with a shorter arm stroke through the back; fastball shows short sink up to 66 mph, natural life and able to induce ground ball contact. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate, rotational swing with subtle shift through lower half. Short swing through the zone and works on a linear plane, keeps hands inside the ball, shorter finish through point of contact, showed comfort working to the middle of the field.
