Logan Drake is a 2027 SS/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Newburgh, IN who attends Castle. A compact frame and medium build. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder who moved well with good footwork. He kept throws accurately across the diamond, funneling well into the throws. Threw 76 mph across the diamond, making the outs, with a lower slot on throws. He had a simple round showing off the fluidity to his actions. Also worked out as an outfielder with a lower slot on his throws here as well. Shorter arm action on the throws, fielding it off the front foot. A left-handed hitter with higher-set hands and a high-back elbow. Keeps a narrow base with his feet and does a good job staying inside the ball, getting the hands lower in the load as he gets going. Shorter path to the ball. He has some bat speed and flashed some pull-side juice during BP. Added 2 hits in-game as well. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
