Jackson Rodriguez is a 2020 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Kingwood, TX who attends Kingwood Park HS. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Smooth and easy low effort delivery, short takeaway in back and good arm extension out front, repeats his mechanics very well. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, throws his fastball to spots and can move it to both sides and elevate it with intent, gets nice running action low in the zone. Sharp breaking curveball with tight spin and good power, 12/6 shape, has some snap to it. Did not observe a change up but sure he can throw one easily. Very polished young southpaw who has a plan on the mound and just needs to get stronger. Very good student.
