Jimmy Rosengrant is a 2021 2B/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Boiling Springs, SC who attends Boiling Springs. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, compact hand path with whole-field approach, gets lower half involved well, consistent barrel skills, drove the ball on a line to all fields, has power to the pull side as well, projectable hitting tools. Worked out in the infield, balance to footwork to both sides, moves well to glove side, consistent transfer skills, clocked up to 80 mph on throws across the diamond. Also pitched, lengthy arm stroke through the back up to three quarters slot, fastball worked 70-74 mph, worked in curveball with good depth as well as cutter with good life overall. Very good student.
