Mario Machado is a 2019 3B/2B/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Colegio Angel David. Large frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Hit from slightly open stance, handsy swing with short path, hands are quick to and through the zone, does not separate or extend, good contact skills to all fields, top-of-the-order type hitter. Worked out in the infield, moves well with smoothness to footwork and actions, hands work well, likely profiles best at third base, clocked up to 87 mph on throws. Good student, committed to Polk State.
