2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 6)
Danny Kilmer is a 2023 C/OF, UT with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Tall frame with good muscular development and really looks the part in uniform. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 which is fine for his size and primary defensive position. Primary position C, working from a narrow, side saddle setup and solid repeatable overall mechanics. Feet move well and gets himself in line for throws using a deliberate transfer and showing emerging accuracy on throws that reached 74 mph from behind the dish. Also took reps from the outfield coming through the ball aggressively and using one hand deep gather. Arm played well here, showing throws up to 83 mph. LHH using a spread stance and starting open. Was really good when he stayed in line and through the pitch. Pull oriented approach with real strength at impact, the ball gets off his barrel quickly. When he stays in the big part of the field, working gap to gap there is real offensive potential. Good student, and could be an offensive catcher at the next level.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
