Nate Carson is a 2024 RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends Spanish River Community. Slender build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with slow to fast mechanics, hands stay his entire delivery, good lower half direction to the plate, compact 3/4's arm slot, works downhill with some angle to the plate. Fastball worked up to 83 mph, mostly straight, projects to add more velocity as he gets stronger, tends to miss arm side often with his fastball. Threw a slurve type breaking ball as his primary breaking ball, has some spin and downer shape, also flashed a change up. Can mix his pitches more often to keep hitters off his fastball. Very good student.
