Ethan Zimmerman is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Parkland, FL who attends North Broward Prep. Recorded a 7.31 second 60-yard dash. Medium frame, athletic build. Primary outfielder, worked out in the outfield with a deliberate approach to the ball, quick transfer, short and quick arm action, accurate throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher, works solely from the stretch, compact delivery and stays on line well, over the top slot, occasional cut to the fastball, feel for a loose curveball with 12/6 shape, projects well with added strength. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open, deploys a simple and easy swing, does a good job at firing the lower half, repeats well and creates consistent line drive contact to middle and pull side. Great student.
