Chase Rosen is a 2023 C/UT with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Shawnee Mission West. Medium, athletic fame with potential for added physical strength. Primary catcher, sets up in a side straddle crouch and shows good quickness out of it. Smooth actions, clean transfer. Longer arm action but replaces feet well and gains ground on his throws down to second base. Posted a 2.00 second pop time in the catching workouts. Switch hitter with open stance, holds hands high from both sides of the plate. Has toe tap trigger from the left side and a leg lick trigger from the right side. Has quickness in hands with developing raw strength in swing. Excellent student.
