Kenneth Dodson is a 2019 SS/2B/3B with a 5-10 162 lb. frame from Airmont, NY who attends Suffern HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.14 seconds. Hits from even stance with lower hand set, quick hands get barrel moving on linear path, shows good bat speed, rotates hips well into swing, showed solid extra base pop to the pull side. Worked out in the infield, lateral agility is solid as is the footwork, hands are clean at the ball, gets off quick release, throws clocked up to 89 mph. Also pitched, throws from three quarters slot with solid arm speed, fastball worked 80-83 mph with some deception, showed slider with some tilt at 72 mph. Good student, signed with Canisius.
