Ryan Matsukawa is a 2022 2B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Torrance, CA who attends Mira Costa. Medium frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.28 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, good first step as he proved to have lateral range. Scooped it up out front before funneling into the body. Shuffles into transfers before releasing. Accurate arm as he threw it 69 mph during drills. Fundamentally sound and will make big strides with a strength gain. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced with a low hand set before working into load. Strides out and lands even before flashing a linear swing path. Fluid swing as he proved he could square it up and drive it to all fields. Short, simple cuts as he impacted out front with juice in the bat. Great Student.
