Tekoah Roby is a 2020 RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Pensacola, FL who attends Pine Forest. Square shouldered athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger, young look. High leg lift delivery, stays tall over the rubber, compact and quick arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front with very good direction to the plate, arm is well timed and very fast with some whip out front. Fastball topped out at 94 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run, maintained his velocity very well. Showed good depth on his curveball with 11/5 shape, will occasionally get under it but has the spin and power to be a solid second pitch for him. Worked his change up down in the zone with some fading action. Three-pitch starter profile with a simple delivery and the ability to throw strikes. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Troy. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
