Thomas Overend is a 2020 C/2B/3B with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Bergheim, TX who attends Boerne. Medium frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.08 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, semi-crouched, medium leg kick with rock back into load, hands set low, stiffens arms into swing, all-field approach, generates some leverage off of front side, can get the ball into the air. Worked out behind the plate, receives well, moving forward and rising into reception, segmented arm action out of transfer, shorter stride out front, clocked up to 61 mph on throws down to 2nd base. Very good student.
