Charlie Summers is a 2019 SS/ with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Providence Academy. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.96 seconds. Hits from open stance, closes well in stride, quickness to hands getting barrel on line drive plane, extends through contact well, shows good bat speed overall with whole-field approach, will drive the ball more as he gains strength. Worked out in the infield, good footwork and overall athleticism, first step quickness is very good, fields cleanly with soft hands, quick transfer and release, throws clocked up to 78 mph across the diamond. Excellent student.
