Stuart Weyrich is a 2018 OF/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from London, OH who attends London HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.89 seconds. Speed plays well on base paths. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with hands set close to body, hands drop into load, very minimal load overall, line drive swing plane. Repeats swing well, barrel flattens through zone, showed solid contact skills. Worked out in two spots. Down to one knee to field cleanly with two hands in the outfield, exchanges relatively cleanly, long and loose arm action to overtop slot, throws up to 71 mph. Solid footwork in the infield with some range to both sides, works through the ball moderately well, throws uphill across the diamond after several steps into crow hop, arm strength clocked up to 68 mph. Good student.
