Ben David is a 2020 C/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Lake Charles, LA who attends Alfred M. Barbe. Flashed a medium frame with a strong frame showing a strong lower half. Ran a 6.94 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher starting from a wider base showing soft hands behind the plate. Quick transfer while gaining ground. Arm showed to be accurate around the base. Righthanded hitter starting with pinched knees while balanced and a slightly open front foot. Proved he could create some separation while getting extended as well. Smooth and simple with good feel for the barrel. Attacked the baseball with a middle of the field approach taking some big hacks at times looking to punish the baseball. Outstanding Student. Named to Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
