Roy Glaum is a 2020 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Somerset Canyons Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright stance with a high hand set up, upper body rotational swing, long and loose swing with some lift out front, stays balanced well and makes consistent contact, pull to mid field approach. 7.75 runner, has clean actions in the middle infield, fields out front with soft hands, mature footwork and works behind the ball well, has athletic balance, accurate throws, second base actions and tools. Also plays the outfield with the same sort of sound fundamentals and mechanics. Took a turn on the mound, compact delivery with a long arm action leading to a high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-70's fastball, mostly straight with occasional cutting action, worked arm side well with his fastball and threw strikes. Soft curveball. Versatile player with good skills. Good student.
