Ryan Wolf is a 2021 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Keosauqua, IA who attends Van Buren Community. Medium frame with strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, smaller heel lift trigger with high back elbow in set, slashing path at times, hands work on inside path, shows solid contact skills. Worked out at first base, deeper high funnel with hands, footwork is solid, balanced around the bag, clocked up to 73 mph on throws. Also pitched, clean direction and lower half in delivery, fastball worked 70-73 mph from high slot with good plane, did a fair job of throwing strikes. Very good student.
