2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Carlo Petrillo is a 2007 OF that attends Kennedy-Kenrick HS and resides in Norristown, PA with a 5'10", 180 lb. frame. Carlo has an athletic build and showed a solid set of raw tools at the showcase. At the plate Carlo shows good bat speed while keeping his hands inside the ball well. He produced consistent line-drive contact and should be able to hit at the next level. In the outfield Carlo showed solid range (7.20) and arm arm strength. (80) Carlo's fundamentals are a little behind in the outfield but he has good athletic ability and should easily be able to correct his actions. Carlo is a player that will attract attention from many mid-level college programs.
