Alec Castillo is a 2021 SS/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Norco, CA who attends Norco. Medium, lean build that has some projection for the future. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.10 seconds. Primary SS whose throws across the diamond topped out at 82 MPH, but his arm plays above that number because of his lighting quick release. Took efficient routes to grounders and his footwork put him in a good fielding position when ranging for balls. At the plate, he uses a narrow and staggered stance and has an all fields approach. Exhibited quality bat speed and his swing path is conducive to spraying line drives all over the field. Good student.
