2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 22)
Caleb Moran is a 2023 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Manchester, TN who attends Coffee County Central. Large frame with a filled out build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.44 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in the stance as he proved to be flexible in the lower half. Reaches for the baseball at times before working into transfer. Gains ground and shows urgency in the release. Strength in the arm present as he was accurate with throws recording a pop time of 2.07 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced to start as he works into a short stride in. Hands get deep as he creates bat wrap before working into a linear cut. Does a good job firing the lower half as he goes after it with intent. Proved to have some power to the middle of the field as he drove it deep into the gaps. Power projection. Good Student.
