Landon Thompson is a 2022 2B/RHP, SS, MIF, OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Chesnee, SC who attends Chesnee. Ran a 7.61 second sixty-yard dash. Primary second baseman with a slender frame that has room to fill out and add strength. Rounds the ball well with a clean funnel out front, showing some athleticism and clean glove actions throughout the fielding process. Has some twitchy actions and makes good throws across the diamond at 75 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter with a spread stance and developing shift to contact. Has a sweeping barrel plane and will start to impact the ball with more consistency as the frame matures. Has a selective approach in game action. Excellent student.
