Elijah Scott is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 2B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. He has a medium frame with a lean build and a high waist. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.37 seconds. Primary catcher that starts with a slight side saddle set up and does a nice job of transferring the ball cleanly to his throwing hand. He stays low throughout the process and can shave time off his impressive 2.22 second pop time by working towards second base more with his lower half. He has a quick release and made accurate, one hop throws to second base. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber. He uses drop and drive back leg mechanics and does a nice job of working down the mound and in line with the plate. He throws with a medium arm action and has a rotational finish. He pounded the zone early with his fastball and kept hitters off balance with a curveball with solid shape. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even, narrow base with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing and has a longer swing through the zone. He is rotational and looks to hit line drives, utilizing the entire field. He had his best results when working back up the middle of the field.
