Isaac Scott is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 153 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Recorded a 7.39 second sixty yard dash time. High-waisted longer and lean frame. Right-handed pitcher works from a chest high leg kick with a medium length stride down the mound. Rotational drop and drive lower half mechanics. Longer arm action with a three- quarter arm slot. Creates good arm speed and arm whip. The fastball (1913 RPM) was up to 80 and showed some arm-side run. Looser 12-6 shaped curveball (2035 RPM) with bigger downward action. Also showed a change-up (1414 RPM) that had some glove side fade. Attacked hitters early and could throw the curveball for strikes. Normal effort on release and an athletic mover on the mound with poise. Secondary third baseman, with good hands up the middle and range laterally. Solid footwork with good arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield, rounds the ball well and carries momentum with one-hop accuracy around the plate. Right-handed hitter, starts from a wider base with high hands and high back elbow starting position, utilizes a toe-tap trigger. Quick hands with a direct path that got on plane and some looseness to the stroke. Drove the ball all over with the best contact coming to the pull-side. High upside player with two-way projection. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
