Landon Gum is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Sellersburg, IN who attends Trinity. Larger frame with good mass and overall strength, lots of time to continue growth. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary corner infielder, working the glove nicely out front with smooth accurate action, looking the part. Footwork is on point and displayed good lateral mobility, especially to the glove side. Over the top arm action creating throws up to 76 mph with some cutting action at times. Has the projection of a power corner guy. RHH working from a wide and slightly open stance, good handset over the shoulder and appropriate bat tilt. Displayed true feel for the barrel, stays inside the ball but still showed ability to pull ball in the air with authority. Intriguing power oriented prospect and an elite performer in the classroom.
