Maxwell Leuga is a 2020 OF/C, 3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Green Valley. Athletic frame and a big, strong arm up to 89 miles per hour from the outfield. Gets through the ball well and is constantly working smooth and in a rhythm. Creates some backspin out of the hand generating some good carry and accuracy to all bases. Shows excellent speed with a 6.95 sixty-yard dash. At the plate, works from a slightly crouched and open stance from the right side of the plate. Has a simple leg lift trigger and rotational lower half. Uses a direct hand path to contact and line drive barrel plane with some hand quickness that is present. Looks to drive the ball to and through both gaps, stays balanced, and controls the barrel well. Good student. Named to 2019 Sunshine West Showcase, Top Prospect List.
