Jacob Danner is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Olathe North. Medium size compact frame. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Catcher with a side saddle set up behind the plate, shows average footwork and glove transfer. Gains some ground on throws down to second base, has some carry on the throws and average accuracy. Hit from an even base and open stance with a high back elbow. Simple pick up and put down timing, swings with some intent and an uphill bat path. Incorporates the lower half well and shows average bat speed, just needs to improve upon his barrel accuracy. Excellent student in the classroom.
