Shows soft hands at third base defensively, has good balance and gets his feet in good position, consistent actions and execution, good arm strength and carry across the diamond, fundamentally sound defender. Also pitched, full arm stroke in back with an over the top arm slot, well paced delivery that works down the mound well, some effort at release. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with good downhill plane to the plate, mostly straight. Throws a slow curveball as a secondary off-speed pitch, also tried a short breaking slider. Good student.
