Reid Huels is a 2022 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Milton. Strong thick build. 7.84 runner in the sixty. Has soft hands behind the plate and receives the ball well, long arm action, gains ground well into his throws, developing arm strength. Also plays the infield. Right handed hitter, has a big load and shift into contact, falls into his swing with a locked back side, has the upper body strength to create bat speed but not the present swing to use that strength, will improve immediately by simplifying his approach. Also pitched, high leg lift delivery, hides the ball very well and has deception, compact 3/4's arm action. Had a quick inning throwing ground balls with a sinking fastball in the low 70's. Good student.
