Aaiden Yusuf is a 2023 C/RHP, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Escondido, CA who attends Classical Academy. Features a lean build with athleticism present. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and behind the plate. Showcased good footwork in the outfield. Gets body behind throws well. Creates good carry on accurate throws. Threw 86 mph during workouts. Athleticism translates well behind the plate. Displayed quick feet out of crouch with good direction toward the target. Recorded a 1.89 second pop time. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a slightly open stance with quick hands through the zone. Stays through the middle of the field well. Generates solid power that plays gap to gap. Right-handed pitcher. Starts with a low hand setup into an athletic leg lift position. Stays balanced well throughout the delivery. Hides the ball well using a short arm action release. The fastball got up 82 mph with some life through the zone. Paired it well with a tight, low-70’s curveball. Was effective with the offering. Flashed a changeup in the low-70’s with late, fading action. Intriguing arm with athleticism.
