Cole Brady is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Nacogdoches, TX who attends Central Heights HS. Large frame with longer limbs and beginnings of strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary third baseman with deliberate footwork while ranging for and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through exchange efficiently. Released from a high energy three-quarters arm slot generating accurate carry across the infield at 84 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Simple hand path to baseball and utilized a line drive barrel plane through extension. Looked to stay inside the baseball while employing a mid field to opposite field gap approach. Flashed some jump off the barrel with carry when on time and squared. Also pitched showing a simple side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather and worked to the plate with drop and drive actions. Quick arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters slot. Flashed some arm speed through extension while generating occasional downhill tilt in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 77 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with looser spin and good depth in the low 60's. Also flashed a sinking changeup in the upper 60's. Consistently looked to challenge hitters to the bottom quadrants of the zone. Excellent student as well.
