Christian LaMothe is a 2025 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from San Juan Capistrano, CA who attends J Serra. Strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, hits from an open and spread stance, has very fast hips and creates lots of hip whip leading to plus raw bat speed, stays balanced with a clean path into contact, hits the ball to all fields with hard impact and carry, very advanced hitter with a high ceiling. 7.83 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has strong fundamentals and solid footwork, makes accurate throws, asset on defense. Took a turn on the mound, has a repeatable delivery with a 3/4's arm slot. Threw a ton of strikes with a fastball heavy diet, topping out at 79 mph. Also mixed in a couple of soft sliders and a firm change up. Chance to be a special hitter. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
