Grant Cohn is a 2023 C/1B, OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends The Dunham. Medium athletic build with room to still fill out as he continues to develop. Primary catcher, sets up in a conventional crouch and shows quick twitch actions out of it. Quick and clean transfer, gains ground towards second base and replaces feet well. Short arm action that shows good accuracy to all bags. Posted a 1.98 second pop time in the catching workouts. At the plate, uses an even and upright stance with a mid leg kick trigger. Hands don't move much as he loads, present bat speed that stands to improve alongside his build.
