Jaixen Frost is a 2023 SS/ with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Kellerton, IA who attends Mount Ayr. Recorded a 7.07 second sixty yard dash time. Long and lean frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary shortstop, that fields it out front with a good funnel to the center. Showed good feet and moves well with some smoothness to the hands. Good arm that was up to 86 during infield drills. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow and open stance with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a big leg lift trigger with a long stride. Sinks into back hip well. Turns and burns on the baseball with bat speed and strength, including hitting one out to left field. Showed good balance and extension on the swing. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Iowa commit. Good student.
